Can my puppy join me on my workout?
THE POWERWAVE EXPERIENCE

Whether you’re a long-time dog owner or a pandemic-puppy parent, you know the power of pets to keep you sane and happy. So why not get started with a few things to help keep your puppy fit and healthy.

Working out with dogs is a great way to bond with them while improving your furry friend’s obedience.

Make sure your dog is cleared by your vet for any activity you embark on and be sure to watch your pup for any signs of distress.

A GREAT WAY TO START…

A great way to start with your dog would be to go on a hike. Let your dog off the leash as you embark on a journey up a mountain together. Take your PowerWave for that extra push. The PowerWave will help keep you balanced and steady, helping you burn a few extra calories all whilst keeping your pup happy.

MAKE YOUR DOG A RUNNING PARTNER

Taking your dog with you for a run, can actually help you out. Your four legged friend can help you keep your pace and push you to do a little more than you normally would. You can use your dog as a great training technique as they can help to push you that one step further.

TAKE YOUR DOG FOR A SWIM

Not all dog breeds take to the water with equal ease so if your dog is reluctant, don’t push it. Still, with proper training and gentle encouragement, many dogs can keep you company. Try an outdoor lake and get a few laps in whilst your puppy splashes care free.

TURN YOGA INTO DOGA

You can start training your dog to do your Yoga class with you by sitting quietly and meditating for five minutes whilst they sit nearby. Eventually your puppy will be able to relax whilst you do your session with Stacey and maybe even try to copy the moves!

We love our favourite four legged friends and want to spend as much time with them as possible.
